Atlanta Most Powerful Voices Choir Competition
Join Georgia’s best choirs, the Metro Atlanta American Heart Association, UnitedHealthcare, Federal Home Loan Bank, and the Gospel Music Workshop in fighting heart disease and stroke at the inaugural Atlanta Most Powerful Voices Choir Competition. Participating choirs throughout the state will compete for the title of Most Powerful Voices Champion, while raising awareness about heart disease and stroke in their congregations and communities.
To enter the competition, choirs must fill out an entry application and submit a video of a performance. A selection committee will choose 15 choirs to compete on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 during the live competition at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in front of a live audience, and a panel of local celebrity and expert judges. Atlanta’s first place winner will receive $1500. Second place will receive $1000 and third place will receive $700.
